Introduction
      Now a days a new respiratory disease called COVID-19(Corona Virus Disease 2019) is spreading across the world.The corona virus outbreak came to light on 31st December 2019, when China informed WHO(World Health Organization) of a cluster of cases of pneumonia of an unknown cause in Wuhan City in Hubei Province.
Subsequently the disease spread to more Provinces in China, and to the rest of the world.Then WHO has declared it's a pandemic.The virus has been named SARS-CoV-2(Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2).
COVID-19 is now a cause of large number of deaths across the world.

Symptoms
Common Symptoms are :-

1)Fever
2)Cough and,
3)Shortness of breath. 
In more severe cases, infection can cause 
pneumonia or breathing difficulties. More rarely, the disease can be fatal. 
                These symptoms are similar to 
the flu (influenza) or the common cold, which are a lot more common than COVID-19. This is why testing 
is required to confirm if someone has COVID-19.

How does COVID-19 spread ?


1) COVID-19 spreads mainly person-to-person via respiratory droplets 
from coughs or sneezes (like the flu).
2) Possibly spread by touching an object or surface with the 
virus on it, then touching mouth, nose, or eyes.
3) It takes approximately 2 to 14 days for 
an infected person to show symptoms
  
Prevention of COVID-19
  
Public health measures are everyday preventive actions that include:
1) Practice Social distancing,
2)Staying home when sick,
3)Covering mouth and nose with tissue when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of 
used tissue immediately,
4)Wear Mask 😷,
5)Washing hands often with soap and water,and
6)Cleaning frequently touched surfaces and objects. 

Treatment and Vaccine

Treatment:- 
1)Any certified treatment of COVID-19 has not been discovered.
2)Supportive management of complications, including 
advanced organ support if indicated
3)Anti-viral medications under investigation
Vaccine:-
Vaccines are under development.

Conclusion
 
There is no specific treatment ☹️ currently available for Coronavirus disease 😣😷.
People should understand the basic information about COVID-19.
Be aware of fake information/myths that may circulate online.
      We may all must  follow the lockdown rules.
